Creating Common History: How the Polish-Georgian Brotherhood Became Common Knowledge
Justyna Pierzynska is a PhD student at the Department of Media and Communications of Department of Social Research at the University of Helsinki. She researches the changes in the politics of memory and the role of history in the understanding of the new geopolitical constellation after the end of the Cold War. The lecture represents the part of her doctoral analysis of the media representation and interpretation of the notion of brotherhood after the fall of the communist world.
The lecture will be held in Serbian, and is a part of her one month study visit to the Institute.
The lecture will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at 12 at the Institute library, Trg Nikole Pašića 11, III floor, room 105.
