Spiritual roots of the conflict between East and West
Slobodan Despot (1967, Sremska Mitrovica) is a publisher, writer and a photographer. After classical education in Switzerland, from 1991 to 2004 he worked at the renown publisher L’Age d’Homme as a translator and editor. He translated into French the works of Ćosić, Crnjanski, Kapor and other authors of Serbian, English, German, Russian and Italian language. He is an associate, chronicler and editor in several magazines, a counselor in public communications for foundations and political institutions. Since 2006 he leads Xenia publishing house, which he co-founded. He authored four books of essays, one biography, two photo albums, one spiritual travelogue through Switzerland and a novel Honey.
The lecture will be held on Friday, 19 April 2019 at 12h at the institute library, Trg Nikole Pašića 11, III floor, room 105.
