Institute of European Studies is organizing a lecture by Dr Ivan Čulo
The Impact of Personalism on Modern Legal Shaping og Human Rights
Dr Čulo is the president of the Institut Fontes Sapientiae, a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the University of Zagreb. In his lecture he will elaborate on his research of modern neo-thomism and personalism, and on the influence that this thought tradition (Mounier, Maritain) had on post-war shaping of the international norms of human rights including the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, 23 April 2019 at 12h at the institute library, Trg Nikole Pašića 11, III floor, room 105.
