Anica Kovačević, MA
Research Trainee
About me
I am a PhD student in International and European Studies at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Political Sciences and a Researcher at the Institute of European Studies in Belgrade. With dual degrees in
International Affairs and Economics, I focus on international economic relations, particularly EU–US trade policy, geoeconomic fragmentation, and the institutional framework of the global economic order. My PhD research examines how US trade policy and economic statecraft shape global markets and governance, while my work for public institutions, think tanks, and media translates complex international developments into clear, policy-relevant insights. Fluent in Serbian, English, German, Italian, and Russian, I work comfortably in international, multi-stakeholder environments and aim to contribute to evidence-based policy making in and beyond the Western Balkans.
