SECESSION IN LIBERAL DEMOCRACY – THE CASE OF CATALONIA
Dr. Ana Lasica holds a PhD in Political Science. She defended her doctoral dissertation titled “The Dynamics of Secession in Liberal Democracy – The Case of Catalonia” last year at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. During the preparation of her dissertation, she spent time in 2019 at the Department of Hispanic Studies in Barcelona, where she participated in the Spanish Politics program. She also completed studies in Diplomacy and International Relations at the University of Zadar, as well as Management studies at the University of Rochester in Dubrovnik. She speaks English, Italian, Spanish, and French.
