Slađana Zdravković
Colonialism Under the Guise of Protectorate – the Decline of the Ottoman Empire “From Within”
Slađana Zdravković is a historian and doctoral student at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade – Department of History. The fields of her research are historical topics and international relations, with a special emphasis on the Ottoman Empire and modern Turkey. In the period 2018-2019, as a scholarship holder of the Turkish government, she was on a study visit to Ankara. She successfully passed Turkish language at Ankara University and Ottoman Turkish at Gazi University in Ankara. So far, she has published over 30 scientific articles and book reviews. She has been employed as a researcher at the Institute for European Studies since 2018.
