From 27 to 29 November 2024, our colleagues from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence are visiting the Institute of European Studies. On the first day of the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute of European Studies and the European University Institute. This is followed by a three-day training course entitled “From concept to impact: How to Design a Policy-Relevant Project, Manage Funding, and Disseminate Knowledge Effectively”. The training is implemented within the framework of the “EUI Widening Europe Programme 2024”, which aims to build bridges between the EUI and national academic institutions in selected EU enlargement countries, offering joint activities for junior researchers, trainees, senior researchers and administrative staff.
This training is led by EUI trainers from the Centre for Media Pluralism and Freedom (CMPF) at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS): Sofia Verza, Research Fellow at EUI, Elisabetta Airaghi, Project Manager at EUI, and Giulia Giannasi, Communications Officer at EUI. The programme is organised for IES researchers and administrative staff, and several colleagues from related institutes have also participated. All participants received a relevant certificate.
