Srboljub Peović MSc, research associate of the Institute of European Studies, participated in the conference of the International Labor Organization “Navigating the Labor Shortage in the Western Balkans” on the occasion of the completion of the E-Mindful project, where he was the National Focal Point for the Republic of Serbia.
The conference in Budapest included representatives of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the European Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the European University Institute, the European Labor Authority (ELA), national and subnational employers’ associations, representatives of the academic community, as well as national and subnational bodies dealing with work. It discussed the current state of the labor market in the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as possible solutions for labor and skill shortages in the region.
