Our colleague, Dr. Aleksa Filipović, Research Associate, participated virtually in the second Serbian-Russian tandem expert seminar “Identities and Real Practices in the Socio-Cultural and Geopolitical Dynamics of Eurasia.” The seminar was held on February 26 as part of the cooperation agreement between the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies at Novosibirsk State Technical University (НГТУ НЭТИ) and the Institute of European Studies (ИЕС), with the support of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Department of International Relations and Regional Studies (МОиР).
Dr. Aleksa Filipović delivered a lecture titled “Identities in the Political Process: The Case of Right-Wing Populist Party Ideologies in Scandinavia,” while, as part of the tandem discussion, Dr. Anna Anatolyevna Izgarskaya, Lead Research Associate at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ИФПР СО РАН), presented a lecture titled “Identity Models in Geoculture: Socialism, Liberalism, and Conservatism in Russia.”
The discussion between Dr. Filipović and Dr. Izgarskaya, as well as the exchange among experts and guests, was moderated by Prof. Dr. Yuri Vladimirovich Popkov, Chief Research Associate at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Professor at the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies at Novosibirsk State Technical University.
