Our colleague, Ivona Leskur MA, was a guest lecturer at Vivekananda Global University (VGU) in Jaipur, India, on February 17. Invited by the Institutional Innovation Council (IIC), she delivered a lecture to forensic science students on research methodology and the role of scientific and research skills in entrepreneurship.
IIC is an initiative supported by the Ministry of Education of India, aimed at encouraging students to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship. During her lecture, Ms. Leskur introduced undergraduate and master’s students to the key steps in conducting scientific research and the importance of research techniques as lifelong and transferable skills. Special emphasis was placed on the development of research and information literacy, which is essential for research work and evidence-based decision-making.
This lecture provided students with valuable insights into an analytical and research-oriented approach, not only in an academic context but also in developing their entrepreneurial skills.
