The Association of Hispanists, the Institute of European Studies and the Center for Ibero-American Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad are organizing the International Summer School of Latin American Studies for the seventh time.
As part of the International Summer School, a lecture was organized at the Institute of European Studies on July 27 at 12 noon (CEST):
Prof. Andrés Malamud
European and Latin American Integration in the Times of Turmoil
Andres Malamud is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, he also writes columns for La Nación, Clarín (Argentina), El País (Spain).
He graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in the field of political science, and received his doctorate from the European University Institute in Florence. He was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg and at the University of Maryland in College Park, USA. His areas of interest and research include democratic institutions, comparative foreign policy and regional integration processes.
His works have been published in scientific journals in more than twenty countries. Malamud performed consulting work for the Inter-American Dialogue, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF). He is a member of the executive committee of the Latin American Association for Political Sciences (ALACIP) and the general secretary of the Portuguese Association for Political Sciences (APCP).
