On Monday, July 7, 2025, at 11 a.m., the Institute for European Studies will organize a lecture
by
Prof. Milenko Petrović.
Prof. Dr. Milenko Petrović of the University of Canterbury in New Zealand will hold a lecture, in
the round table form with IES researchers, on the topic of current challenges of the European
Union enlargement.
Prof. Petrović is Jean Monnet Chair, and Senior Lecturer Above the Bar at the National Centre
for Research on Europe (NCRE) and at the Department of Global, Cultural and Language
Studies. He is the Deputy Director of NCRE and the President of Australasian Association for
Euro-Asian Studies (AAEAS). His research and publications focus on problems of post-
communist democratisation and socio-economic transition in East Central and South-Eastern
Europe and the EU’s eastern enlargement.
The lecture will be held in the IES library, room 105, on the 7 July 2025 at 11h.
