On Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 12:00, the Institute оf European Studies and the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Serbia are organizing a public forum entitled
”Malvinas and Kosovo:Unresolved Questions in the International Order”
which will be addressed by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Osvaldo Narciso Marsico, and Dr. Rajko Petrović. This is a kind of conversation about these two enduring disputes at the crossroads of international law, history and geopolitics, as well as an assessment of their significance for contemporary debates on territorial integrity and international legitimacy.
Ambassador Marsico is a professor of international law at the University of Buenos Aires and was the head of the National Directorate for the Malvinas and South Atlantic Islands for five years (2016-2020).
Dr. Rajko Petrović is a political scientist and research associate at the Institute of European Studies, whose area of interest includes Ibero-American studies, i.e. the analysis of political and social conditions in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
