The Round Table takes place in the context of the International Scientific Project “Environmental Legislation and Sustainable Development – the State of Play in Serbia and Experiences of the Croatian EU Membership,” supported by Hanns Seidel Foundation. During the six phases of its implementation, the Project gathers over 30 members of scientific and academic communities from Serbia, Croatia and other EU member states, but also the representatives of central, county and local authorities and of the civil society. The Project is based on the Agreement on inter-institutional cooperation between IES and PRAVOS, singed in February 2020.
The primary goal of the Round Table is to shed light on the topic of environmental protection from the point of view of Ph.D. students in law, political science and security. In addition, it strives to contribute to a better understanding of the ways in which the process of preparing and defending a doctoral thesis is approached to in Serbia and Croatia, with a focus on similarities and differences in this process.
The estimated total duration of the Round Table is 75 minutes, and the working languages are Serbian and Croatian, without translation into English.
The round table can be watched live. The round table can also be followed online, through the Zoom application, with prior registration at the following link:
