RELATIONS OF SERBIA AND THE USA – CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES
Vuk Velebit is a Serbian political scientist. He represents one of the most prominent political analysts of the new generation in Serbia. He is particularly known for his analysis of Serbia’s foreign and security policy. Velebit spent several years in the private sector before starting to engage in political consulting.
Since October 2023, Vuk Velebit is the executive director and co-founder of the Pupin initiative, which deals with strengthening relations between Serbia and the USA and strengthening Serbia’s position in Washington. The Pupin Initiative is the first Serbian privately funded organization operating in Belgrade and Washington.
The goal of the Pupin initiative is to ensure that the Serbian voice is heard in Washington and to contribute to the creation of a more positive image of Serbia. In less than a year since its official launch, the Pupin Initiative has positioned itself as a key think-tank, political center and mediator in navigating through the complex geopolitical challenges facing relations between Serbia and the US.
