With the support of the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia (Technology
Transfer Program), the Institute of European Studies is implementing a project in
the field of artificial intelligence (AI) entitled „Appliance for Regulatory and
Ethical Evaluation of the Outputs of AI-based text-to-image Software Solutions“
(TT1162). The project is managed by Dr. Uroš Ćemalović, it includes researchers
from the field of law and ethics, as well as external advisors and experts, and the
Institute is the unique holder of the project. During the implementation of the
project – the first phase of which lasts until mid-October 2024 – will be developed
various innovative solutions covered by different intellectual property rights,
especially including copyright, with the possibility – depending on the results of
the work – to submit patent and trademark applications. Dissemination and promotion of the main research results and innovative solutions are planned for the
second half of 2024.
