Dr. Markku Kangaspuro
ARCTIC, NUCLEAR WEAPONS, AND THE CDA AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES
Dr. Markku Kangaspuro has been the head of the Aleksanteri Institute at the University of Helsinki since 2018. He received his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Eastern Finland in 2000. His fields of expertise are: political history (especially of the Soviet Union and Russia); political development of Russia; identities and nationalism; problems of modernization and development.
