Dr. Anila Jelesijević’s book “Serbia and the Great Powers” is a significant scholarly work on politics from the position of power of the United States of America, the Russian Federation and the European Union towards the Republic of Serbia. It is a study that consists of a detailed analysis of the policy from the position of power of the aforementioned actors towards the Republic of Serbia through the levers of “hard” and “soft” power, then from the measurement of power using the security and economic hierarchy indicators of realism theorist David Lake, as well as interviewing several American, Russian and Serbian professors and analysts, Swiss and EU diplomats, representatives of NATO, political parties, state institutions, and non-governmental organizations in Serbia, Russia, Germany, Belgium and the USA.
